OERInterop2007
From OpenContent Wiki
The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation is sponsoring a meeting to discuss the technical interoperability of Open Educational Resources. This two day meeting on OER Interoperability will be held at the Hewlett Foundation in Menlo Park, CA on December 10-11, 2007.
We envision this meeting as the beginning of a discussion about OER Interoperability. We are structuring the meeting to result in a tangible list of recommend practices for organizations who create or distribute OERs, as well as commitments to implement these practices. This meeting is the result of a number of parallel discussions held with the Hewlett Foundation regarding interoperability and use/re-use of Open Educational Resources.
